— The Depeche Mode Experience – announces its most ambitious touring celebration yet: the 2027 “40 Years of Music for the Masses” World Tour!, The tour will begin in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania, deliberately echoing the geography of Depeche Mode’s own historic American breakthrough during the Music for the Masses era. This will be more than a celebration of an album. It will be a journey back to the moment when Depeche Mode changed the scale, ambition and cultural perception of electronic music in America. For Strangelove, the Music for the Masses anniversary is an opportunity to recreate not merely the songs, but the scale, atmosphere and emotional intensity of the era. The 2027 production will draw heavily from the music and visual language of the 1987–88 period, bringing audiences into the world of Music for the Masses, the legendary American tour and 101. Fans can expect a set built around the era’s defining material—including “Never Let Me Down Again,” “Strangelove,” “Behind the Wheel,” “Sacred,” “The Things You Said,” “Pimpf,” “Blasphemous Rumours,” “Stripped,” “Black Celebration,” “Everything Counts” and other essential Depeche Mode classics.

ALTraWAVE is Chicagoland and NW Indiana’s only 80’s show focusing on the classic “Alternative and New Wave” sound of the decade. The show consists of 80’s Alt & New Wave covers for the refined, sophisticated, passive, or purist. You will feel like you are back at the Metro in 89 with a setlist keeping you guessing. From the quintessential, cutting edge, dance, melancholy, to absurd. Not only does our show provide these amazing tunes, the spirit and fashion sense of that time comes alive in our show as well.
